In this context, the institute’s facilities have been upgraded to make teaching more dynamic, including the installation of smart TVs and internet connectivity in the classrooms. To support this transition, our teachers have been provided with laptops for class preparation and presentations, as have third-semester students. This shift encourages the development of more dynamic and digitalized spaces, moving away from the traditional use of chalkboards, markers, and erasers.
The technological update at IUTA JHS also involves acquiring a comprehensive Student Management System. This integrated system covers all stages of the academic administrative process (admission, retention, graduation) and includes features for tracking grades, attendance for students and teachers, and other elements to ensure adherence to academic planning and our set objectives. It is worth noting that the equipment has been purchased and will be operational in the coming days, allowing us to test its effectiveness before the start of the first semester of 2024.
The technology upgrade also includes installing a more efficient internet service, aimed at advancing towards distance education. This will facilitate master classes with experts on specific topics, providing continuous updates for our teachers and students without requiring their physical presence, thus saving costs and maximizing efficiency.
The segmentation of internet use is planned for the first quarter of 2024, allowing it to be used not only for academic purposes but also for recreational activities within set schedules and designated wifi zones for students, faculty, and staff.
Finally, it is important to mention that we are 70% prepared for our III Expo Fair, where our students will showcase their achievements in their fields. This year, the event will be extended to four days, from February 20 to 23, so that executives from Grupo JHS, special guests, family members, and the general community can see what our students have to offer.
We continue to advance in the professional development of our students.
